Information Security

KAI has appointed an in-house Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and
executes systematic information security tasks under the constant management and
supervision of the Information Security Committee.

Defense Technology Protection

To protect core technologies critical to national security and the defense industry,
KAI maintains a comprehensive defense technology protection framework in full compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
We establish and strictly enforce internal security policies and technology control procedures,
conducting regular security training and inspections for the systematic protection of defense technology.
We work in close cooperation with government bodies to implement all necessary measures for protecting defense technology.
In accordance with the Defense Technology Security Act, we undergo annual regular and ad-hoc inspections by
the Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA), the National Intelligence Service (NIS), and
the Defense Counterintelligence Command (DCC). Through these efforts, we continuously strengthen our systems for
technology identification and management, personnel and
facility security, information protection, military secrets management, and overall security for defense R&D projects.

Personal Information Protection

Led by our Chief Privacy Officer (CPO), we regularly review and enhance our personal information management practices.
Each year, we establish a Personal Information Protection Action Plan that includes training for
all employees handling personal data, measures to secure our data processing systems,
the encryption of critical information, and monitoring for data leaks.
KAI implements a comprehensive range of administrative, physical, and technical safeguards to
protect personal data against loss, theft, alteration, or damage.
